853. Cheesy Garlic Loaf

A four ingredient loaf of bread is whipped up and baked in an hour or less, and if then stuffed in a flavorsome cheesy garlic concoction to make an excellent home made garlic bread loaf.
I combined two recipes from here and here to make this, and it really is less work than it seems (provided you made your life easier by purchasing a stand mixer).

Ingredients:

For the bread:
1½ cups warm water
1 Tbsp honey
1½ tsp salt
1½ Tbsp Active Dry Yeast
3½ cups flour

For the garlic seasoning:
2 Tbsp powdered parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup butter, soft
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Method:

To make the bread, combine water, honey, salt and yeast.
Let sit for 5-10 mins until there is a foam on top.
Knead in flour until no longer sticky.
Cover with a towel and let it sit for 15 mins while preheating the oven at 425F.
Cut slits in the top and bake for 25-35 mins.
Let the bread cool a bit then cut again into the slits, keeping the bottom intact.
Mix all the seasoning ingredients in a bowl and stuff in the cooled bread slits.
Cover the loaf in foil and bake for 10-15 minutes at 350F to melt the cheese.
Serve immediately.
